This method works great for the client that wants to know what all the actual costs are. This allows some clients the comfort that knowing exactly what they are purchasing throughout the construction process. Sometimes we apply cost plus to certain portions of a remodel when the work is not clearly defined. Ie: When repairing wood rot it is often hard to determine the extent of the damage until the demo is complete. By using the cost plus method for this portion of work we can provide the best price and workmanship for our clients.  Fixed Fee Construction      Fixed Fee Construction is a guaranteed contract amount with our fee built in to the price. A large majority of the work we do is done this way. The price is controlled by detailed specifications and allowances. The client has full financial reporting on allowance items only.
